Basket Strainers

Basket strainers have a greater holding capacity than the Y-strainers. They also have less pressure drop. Hence, these are ideal for liquid applications where debris collection is huge and frequent.

Installation of these type of strainers are easy as they can fit anywhere in a system. Our basket strainers feature a handle for easy lifting of the basket from the top, so that all particulate matter captured by the screen can be easily removed for disposal. We also engineer a cone bottom basket fitted with a manual or automatic blow down through the drain port for easily flushable solids.

We provide basket strainers in different materials such as stainless steel, cast steel, cast iron, ductile iron, bronze, and chrome-moly. Our basket strainers come with socket weld, threaded, or flanged end connections. Various size options ranging from 3/8 inches to 24 inches are available on request. Our basket strainers are sturdy enough to handle pressure ratings from ANSI 125 to 2500.
