Conical Strainers

Conical strainers are cost-effective solutions for the removal of unwanted solids from fluid. The removal is done by means of a conical shaped wire mesh or any perforated material. These are temporary units used in expensive pipelines to protect control valves, regulators, steam traps, pumps, and meters.

These are installed over the suction side of a pump with its tip pointing against the flow of liquid. This paves way for the solid waste to be collected on the outer edges of the strainer unit.
